B.A., Modern Languages, Trinity College, Hartford, CT (1971)
Since my retirement after twenty-seven years as a teacher of secondary-level French and Spanish, I have edited grant proposals, cover letters and academic papers, as well as a doctoral dissertation and a book written by a Holocaust survivor. A Life Master in contract bridge, I edit weekly bridge columns submitted to local newspapers. An experienced trilingual copy editor with exceptional attention to detail and a strong knowledge of English, French and Spanish, I have edited government publications replete with broken Spanish in need of repair. In addition to revising a wide range of text material, I am capable of reviewing translations to detect and correct linguistic errors, from misspelled words to grammatical miscues. Thorough, reliable, caring. Reasonable rates. Please contact me to discuss your needs. I will be happy to e-mail a full résumé upon request.
