Interesting!

  • Editors Only.  The Newsletter of Editorial Achievement
Editors Only is a monthly publication to help you achieve and stay at your professional best. It is intended for editors of magazines, newspapers, e-zines, newsletters, and other publications.

  • ExploreWriting and Scribble Pad - Public interest websites from the United Kingdom.  The first is a unique reference point for interesting features and practical advice for individuals interested in writing for a hobby or professionally.  The second focuses on creative writing. Worth checking out. mk

Reference

Libraries

  • The Library of Congress Online Catalog (identify correct titles, dates, etc.): Library of Congress
  • The University of Massachusetts online catalog: telnet://umlibr.library.umass.edu
  • The Five College Libraries online: telnet://lib.amherst.edu
  • C/W MARS, a site linking several local libraries (including Jones and Forbes) in central and western Massachusetts: telnet://site.cwmars.org    When you enter the C/W MARS site, you need to choose the type of terminal you are using from a list of several different types. Although the second type is labeled "MAC/IBM," I get only garbage on my IBM clone if I enter this way. The first type, labeled "ADM (all)," works for me.
